SnapCal ("App") is a mobile application that helps you track your nutritional habits and reach your healthy living goals. The data controller is Kerem Çebi (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us"). This privacy policy explains how your data is collected, used, and protected when you use our app.

We track basic nutritional data and in-app preferences of our users. This data is used solely to provide you with a better user experience and to help you reach your nutritional goals. We do not collect any data beyond what is necessary to operate the app.

Your data is protected using industry-standard encryption methods. Using Supabase infrastructure, your data is stored on secure servers and continuously monitored against unauthorized access. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal information.

Your personal data is never shared with advertisers or third-party companies for commercial purposes. Only limited sharing with technical service providers necessary to deliver the app's core functionality (database management, analytics, etc.) takes place. All third-party providers are bound by strict data processing agreements.

When you use the AI meal scanning feature, photos are temporarily processed by our AI service (Google Gemini) to identify food items and estimate nutritional values. Photos are deleted from our servers immediately after analysis. We do not store, sell, or use your meal photos for any other purpose.
